Print guide
A few careful choices in the print dialog keep your grid, ruling and page dimensions true to size.
Choose Actual size or 100%
Open the downloaded PDF and choose Actual size, 100% or No scaling. Avoid Fit to page, Shrink oversized pages and similar settings because they can change every measurement on the sheet.
Match the paper in the printer
If you downloaded A4, load A4 paper and select A4 in the printer settings. Do the same for A5, US Letter or Legal. A mismatch may cause scaling or cropping.
Test one page first
Before printing many copies, print one sheet and measure a known interval. The browser and PDF can describe exact dimensions, but printer drivers and hardware may still add scaling.
Margins and borderless printing
Most home printers cannot reach the very edge of the paper. PaperKind starts with a practical margin, which you can increase if your printer clips lines. Borderless mode is not needed for ordinary sheets.
